This is an interesting subject that, believe it or not, a lot of men suffer from.  We’re sure that at least once in your life you’ve probably been driving to work and noticed somebody (99.9% of the time its probably an older gentleman) wearing white socks and shorts, with a pair of slip on flipflops.  This look may have been “in” sometime before our time, but its definitely an expired sense of fashion.  If you know somebody, or maybe you’re one of the instigators polluting others vision by sporting the look (this is a judge free blog so don’t panic), please read this article……help is out there

15 Unusual and Creative Fashion Shoes

To me, fashion is like trying to read Egyptian hieroglyphics for the first time; I just don’t get it, and might not ever.  This article certainly backs my simile.  Take a look at some of these shoes and ladies, ask yourself this question: “Would I ever wear these shoes in public”?  Gentlemen, ask yourself this question: “Would I ever be with a woman that would even consider taking a second glance at these shoes, let alone putting them on their feet”?

High Heeled Sneakers: Yay or Nay?

This article somewhat touches on the same subject as the previous: bizarre fashion.  I can’t really recall my first time seeing a pair of high-heeled sneakers in action, but I’m pretty sure that my reaction may have been similar to a Wile E. Coyote face (see picture).  Regardless, we’re interested in hearing your opinion on this subject.

We all know that the economy is, well let’s just say, not doing so great at the moment.  Nobody wants to reflect their current financial struggles on their fashion, which is why we want to offer this article about cheaply priced shoes so you can stay up to date on your fashion (shoes in particular).  Here’s a great tip though: “Spruce up your shoes, either new or old, with some new shoe insoles”.

Running With The Bulls

Even though Spain just claimed the World Cup title, they’re not entirely finished showing off their worldly potential.  Spain hosts “the running of the bulls” every year on July 6^th where brave (or outright crazy) people literally run from live Bulls down an extremely narrow street with little to no “safety” exits.  I’m all about extreme sports, but this is still tough for me to swallow.  Take a look.

Lebron’s New Kicks

Well, if you haven’t heard by now, Lebron James is now a member or the Miami Heat.  Some may call him a traitor, some may refer to him as a “smart business man”…we’re going to stay neutral on this subject by saying: “Good Luck to all parties”.  Now that we’ve pulled out the white flag, here is a peak at Lebron’s 2010-2011 shoes.  Rumors have it saying that Lebron has bad knees so lets hope that he starts the comfort/healing process with some added support from shoe insoles.

Happy Feet or Kicking It New School

If you’ve been watching the World Cup for the past few days, we’re guessing that your eyes have uncontrollably taken a glance at the colorful shoes that players are sporting this year. Soccer is perhaps the “Bling’iest” sport when it comes to over the top decorations and colors on shoes.  This is a great article that touches on the top 3 soccer shoe manufacturers (Adidas, Nike & Puma), and gives a peak at what players are wearing for this year’s tournament.

Wide Soccer Cleats

Some people have wide feet; it’s normal.  This article helps soccer players with wide feet find the best fitting shoe and gives details on what to look for as far as comfort.  Players also need to keep in mind that shoe insoles play an important part in performance and endurance….You don’t want to take your cleats off after a long game and have sores, or even worse blisters, that can keep you off the field for the next games to come.  Take care of your feet, especially when playing soccer, because they’re the driving force of the sport.

Gear light up’s (Which on a side note there were limited edition ones for the Laker’s Game). These new shoes will be limited so if you are interested stay up with the Diversitile website.

Women’s Running Magazine Pick of their top 5 trail running destinations in the U.S.

-       We loved this article because it talked about other things to do in the area, which sets it apart from other “top 5” lists.  For people that travel a lot, it’s a nice list to look up on before setting up a travel itinerary.

New Nike Jordans

-       This was a big week for any fan of the Nike Air Jordan line… the release of the Air Jordan 2010.  Nike also released the Air Jordan Alpha 1, Jordan Jeter Throwback, Air Jordan 1 Phat, and others. The Nike Jordan line have always been great basketball shoes, yet more and more of the trendy “sneaker heads” and collectors have taken interest to this historic line.

Olympic champ Gebrselassie to run New York Marathon

Here is some interesting news for anyone participating in the New York Marathon; you’ll be running with the current world-record holder in the marathon event, Haile Gebreslassie.  Geberselassie, who has won nine major marathons, announced that he will be running in the NYC marathon on Wednesday June, 2^nd

- Cool Ocho Cinco Reebock Zigtech commercial.. We haven’t tried these shoes at all but its always interesting how Reebok will marketing them.. They claim its 20% less wear and tear on the leg muscles..  Not sure if we’ll buy them at all but we like the fact they’re focusing on the wear and tear your body takes during a run… (Personally I will always think the Pumps were the greatest thing)
