Cleveland, OH – Rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the participants at the 18^th Annual Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure. Held September 10, 2011 at the Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State University – over 20,000 women, men and children of all ages and athletic abilities were expected to participate. Many RX Sorbo/Sorbothane employees, friends and family members ran or walked in the event. Susan G. Komen For The Cure continues to be the global leader in thebfight against breast cancer.

The RX Sorbo Performance Insole booth was extremely well attended with many visitors interested in the RX Sorbo “Limited Edition” Pink Comfort Insole. $2.00 from the sale of every RX Sorbo Performance Insole including the “Limited Edition” Pink insole, sold through March 2012, goes directly to support the Susan G. In 2010 over $1.6 Million was raised to help in the fight against breast cancer. And 75% of all monies raised stays in Northeast Ohio while the remaining 25% helps fund the Susan G. Komen for the Cure National Research Grant Program.

Alicia Sacramone Wins Gold Medal at 2010 World Championships

Rotterdam, Netherlands, -

Alicia Sacramone won the vault title at the 2010 World Gymnastics Championships. Sacramone won the Gold Medal with a 15.200, the average of her two vaults. She is just the second U.S. woman to win  the world vault title. Alicia’s career world medal total is now 9. According to USA Gymnastics, she is now tied with Shannon Miller and Nastia Liukin as the U.S. women with the most world medals.
